ARTISTS AGAINST WIND FARMS
"Paint It While It's There"
MYNYDD-Y-GWAIR

LOCATED IN THE COUNTY OF SWANSEA, SOUTH WALES,
ON SUNDAY 1st MAY 2005.

The 'Save our Common Mountain Environment' protest group (SOCME) are proud to announce:

'Artists Against Windfarms' will be holding their 'Paint it while it's there' protest day on 1st May 2005.
The world renown landscape artist and author David Bellamy and his extremely talented landscape artist and author wife Jenny Keal, will be painting at Mynydd y Gwair near Swansea from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

David and Jenny will both be showing how they work. You are very welcome to come along and join them there, or any of the other locations around the UK, where other artists will be working.

Artist protest
Landscape Artists need a landscape to paint and a landscape
industialised by Wind Turbines holds no interest for most artists.

On 1st May 'Artists Against Windfarms' all over the UK and overseas
will be going out to paint unspoilt landscapes under threat by wind
factory development.

Any artists who would like to join us can meet on 1st May 2005
at the Lower Lliw Reservoir carpark near the village of Felindre.
Roads will be signposted.
The event is scheduled for between 2 and 5 p.m.

The Ancient Heart of Wales is being broken - acre by magnificent acre.
Another mountain at Cefn Croes, mid Wales is presently being destroyed by misguided politicians and developers who use the excuse that wind turbines are needed in the name of global warming.
