It is 'done & dusted' now but it certainly is infuriating to learn from the above item, of where the public EU Objective 1 Funding is being frittered away, instead of being made good use of, for public benefit. Shouldn't AAT now be obliged to refund the money concerned, to the Welsh Assembly Government's coffers ?

Behind the British Energy Review (article - web link) "Britain's renewable energy market is not working as intended. The government's aim with the Renewables Obligation is to secure as much green power as possible for as little money as possible. Part of that aim is being fulfilled: a record volume of new wind power capacity is coming online. But far from paying as little as possible, consumers in Britain probably have the highest priced wind power in the world. What's more, some of the price they are paying is for green electricity that has never been generated."

Both of the above websites based in France have differing English language versions of 'live-streaming video/audio' clips, comprising of comments produced on a DVD, from the residents of Meyersdale, Western Pennsylvania and Tug Hill, Lowville, NY USA. These residents live near the wind farm at those locations and it is highly recommended that you listen to and watch their angry complaints caused by the wind turbines and developer. N.B. It is preferable to have a broadband (ADSL) Internet connection to receive good reception from 'live-streaming video/audio' clips. If you haven't got such a connection, please find somebody with one and listen/watch what happened to these residents.
Many thanks to A.K. for the link and to both of the French web sites for the above information.
