Folks,
I make no apology for the size of the next file because it concerns a subject that is very dear to my heart. To just think that wind turbines might possibly destroy many of these beautiful creatures, really upsets and angers me!!

South Wales Guardian   UK
The next article isn't wind turbines but it is about energy and I believe that it also demonstrates how little thought is put into projects/developments by politicans, planners and developers.
If you remember, a few weeks ago, a CCW geologist went with Glyn and myself to inspect the area on Betws mountain where the proposed wind farm is to be sited. As we were driving back from the visit, I got into conversation with the geologist about the gas pipeline that is going to be constructed across south Wales.
He told me that when he saw the plans for the original route (via the Vale of Neath), alarm bells started ringing and he was personally responsible for stopping the original route because he knew that the Vale of Neath was a designated 'earth-quake' area. It seems that there was a small earth-quake there in the mid-90's and not one of the developer's 'specialist consultants' had recognised, or found that fact.
