Well folks. Is this it?Is this the final proof needed to illustrate to the world that the WAG politicians have completely lost each and everyone of their marbles? Whilst I most certainly believe in Welsh heritage and in encouraging and fostering tourism for our Welsh industrial heritage sites; this 'Trail of Light' idea funded by the WAG, to illuminate 40 such sites with huge floodlight systems, has to be a joke. 40 floodlight systems might be a pebble in the ocean in the grand theme of things of the UK's electrical generation system, but surely they cannot be serious about this huge waste of electrical power when our politicians want us to conserve electricity?
No doubt the 'Trail of Light' scheme would be very pretty to look at, but most tourists that I have observed go sight-seeing in daylight.

Rail break-up was mistake, Tories admit (article - web link)
At last, the Tories admit that the decentralisation of the UK rail system was "a fundamental error" with an explanation of "the divisions in the industry created by privatisation were partly responsible for the quadrupling in subsidy."
These days there's calls from the 'greens and their likes' for the decentralisation of the UK's National Electrical Grid Network. How many years will it take and how much financial hardship to consumers and industry will it take for the politicians to realise that they are going down exacty the same path as what happened to the national rail system?

It is interesting to read in the above article about the National Grid's call for more power yesterday due to the present heatwave and scheduled maintenance considerations. On our way to Porthcawl yesterday evening to sample some much needed sea breeze and some of the best fish & chips that I've tasted for years, it was particularly noticeable that only one of the Ffynnon Oer wind farm turbines appeared to be turning, which certainly doesn't speak volumes for Peter Hain's 'words of wisdom' at its opening ceremony last week, "that this is the way forward for Wales to become a world leader in renewable energy"? It is most unfortunate that P Hain MP hadn't been officially opening the Ffynnon Oer wind farm yesterday when the National Grid needed more electricity!

Assembly powers bill to be passed (article - web link)
After reading the above news and realising the full implications of the catastrophic consequences of what will occur to Wales with the WAG "Muppets" having full law making powers, I think it might possibly be the right time now to consider 'hanging up my boots' in the campaign against wind power. I don't say that lightly given the following news of the resignation of the newly appointed acting CEO of the Welsh Ambulance Service. Questions as ambulance boss quits (article - web link) Two highly qualified CEOs' resigning in four months must make it obvious to anyone in their right mind, of the sheer futility and frustration of what both these two CEOs' must have experienced in their dealings with the WAG and its hanger-on, over paid 'jobs-for-the-boys' pseudo-consultants.Allowing the likes of the Cardiff Bay Bunch to have full law making powers is a very black day indeed for the people of Wales. "Visions of Wales shortly becoming the newest Banana Republic with its majestic coastlines and wilderness upland areas covered with wind turbines!"
