The following item isn't strictly "wind turbines" but it is an article written by a Mr Denys Smith who has regular "In the Country" articles featured in the Carmarthen Journal newspaper. In this article he mentions red kites and that a known 400 red kites were fledged in Wales in 2004. He also provides a phone number for further information, so I wonder if Mr Denys Smith would be of help to us who fear for the safety of red kites near wind turbines, such as at the proposed 10 wind turbine Rhos Garn, Mydroilyn site, where Ellyn and I witnessed four red kites swooping and circling low over the area?
